The Working Cowboy - folkways, arts & traditions!

Day-long event featuring a down-home, intimate look at the "working cowboy" by those who work the trade. Event showcases cowboy songs, poetry and stories, as well as the crafts, skills and historical contributions of those who defined and tamed the wild, wild West. Event co-sponsored by Sharlot Hall Museum and KDDL - Cattle Country 94.3FM.

"The Working Cowboy" includes cowboy presentations, crafts and demonstrations, from boot-making and saddlery, to leatherwork, horse shoeing and reata-making, plus a wide range of children's activities that will introduce them to the lure 'n' lore of the iconic hero of the West, the modern-day cowboy.
