Climate Change in the Southwest: predicted effects on Southwest Flora and Fauna Jane Agyacos, a wildlife biologist with the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, will be our speaker. The talk will focus on the observed and predicted effect of climate change to Southwestern flora and fauna. Projected increases in drought, wildfire, invasive species, and pests, as well as changes in the geographic ranges of species, will likely threaten ecosystems in the Southwest.
