2024 Veterans Day Parade Winners

“Protecting Our Country, Serving Our Communities…Honoring Our Veteran First Responders”, was this year’s theme for the Prescott Veterans Day Parade, which took place in downtown Prescott on November 11, 2024. With 87entries, awards were given to the best entry in seven (6) categories: Commercial, Fraternal Organization, Hospital, Marching Unit, Motorized Group, and Non-Profit, as well as the APS Sponsor award for Best Overall.

The 2024 Veterans Day Parade winning entries are as follows:

1st Place- Non-Profit Organization- Arizona Nurse Honor Guard

1st Place- Fraternal /Military Organization- Copper State Detachment Marine Corps League and Copper State Young Marines

1st Place- Motorized Group- Prescott Antique Auto Club

1st Place- Marching Unit- Prescott High School Air Force JROTC

1st Place- Hospital Entries by Veterans- Northern Arizona VA Veterans

1st Place- Commercial/ Business Entry- Arizona Public Service (APS)

Best Overall/ APS Title Sponsor Award- Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University Air Force ROTC Detachment 028

Winners can pick up their awards at the Grace Sparkes Memorial Activity Center (Old Armory), located at 824 E. Gurley St.

The City of Prescott would like to thank all those who participated as well as the community partners that helped to sponsor this year’s parade, including Visiting Angels, Arizona Nurse Honor Guard, Northern Arizona Wranglers, Arizona Rangers- Lonesome Valley Company, Willow Wind Assisted Living, American Legion Post 78 Riders, Mile High Tractor & Engine Club, Earnest A.
