The CAPER (Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report) 2022 is now available for 30-day public review and comment.
Each year the City of Prescott is required to submit a CAPER for the previous program year. The 2022 CAPER highlights annual as well as five-year goals and outcomes.
The City is required to report on primary activities and programs, demographics, resources and investments, affordable housing, homeless and other special needs, other actions that combat impediments to fair housing, lead based paint awareness activities, institutional structure and monitoring activities. Creating an online annual report from sub-recipients has greatly increased the efficiency of reporting outcomes.
The CDBG Citizen Participation Plan requires a 30-day public review and comment period for the CAPER. All comments from the Citizen Advisory Committee and the public will be submitted along with the CAPER to HUD (US Department of of Housing and Urban Development).
You can review it here: 2022 City of Prescott CAPER.
You can request a copy by contacting the CDBG Grant Coordinator, calling 928-777-1205, visiting the Prescott Public Library Information Section at 215 E Goodwin Street in Prescott, or visiting the Community Development Department at 201 S Cortez Street in Prescott.
The 2022 CAPER report will be available for review and comment from October 9th, 2023 to October 24th, 2023.
Public comments may also be heard at the October 24th, 2023 Prescott City Council Meeting.
