Project Update

The Dexter Neighborhood Drainage Project is a capital improvement initiative designed to reduce localized flooding, improve stormwater conveyance, and enhance overall neighborhood safety and resiliency. Dexter Neighborhood is roughly defined by North Fork Miller Creek to the west, West Hillside Avenue to the south, North Fork Granite Creek to the east, and Whipple Street to the north.

The project generally consists of upgrading aging drainage infrastructure, installing new stormwater facilities, and improving roadway and alley surfaces to better manage runoff during major storm events with improvements taking place along Merritt Street between
Dameron Drive and 1st Street.

Wilson and Company Engineering have been selected to provide engineering design services for this project with current design at 60% review.
