This project includes applying pavement preservation treatments to roadways within the Newport, Bradshaw, and McDonald areas. Treatments include Type 3 Micro Seal, Cape Seal, and thin asphalt overlays designed to extend pavement life and improve ride quality. The project also includes asphalt repairs in areas of pavement failure, crack sealing, mastic repairs, and repairs to curb, sidewalk, and ADA ramps. These improvements will help preserve the roadway network, improve accessibility, and provide a safer, smoother surface for residents and visitors.
Cactus Asphalt will be performing the work. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in mid to late July. Residents will be notified of any traffic impacts or temporary access restrictions as work progresses.
