Currently all main arterials and most major collectors are clear and passable but remain wet. With temperatures dropping below the freezing point some icy conditions may be present during this morning’s commute. Please remember to use caution when traveling to work or school. We are anticipating clearing skies as the morning goes on and this will help with melt.
Street Maintenance crews will continue plowing operations and treat icy areas as needed throughout the day until all city streets are clear and passable. We ask that you stay at least 100 feet behind snowplows and never attempt to pass a plow that is actively plowing.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Brian Scott, Street Maintenance Superintendent
