City of Prescott Street Closure Information and Details for the Veterans Day Parade, Monday, November 11, 2024

The City of Prescott welcomes all in celebrating Veterans Day at the Annual Veterans Day Parade, Monday, November 11, 2024. There will be an Opening Ceremony beginning at 10:30am on the stage, located at the intersection of Union and Cortez Streets (directly across for the Yavapai County Courthouse entrance). The Parade is set to begin at 11:00am.
The Parade route will start at the corner of Willis St and Cortez St., then head south down Cortez St. to Goodwin St. It will then cross over Goodwin to Montezuma St and then head north back up to Willis St and Sheldon St.
Spectators are asked to be mindful of downtown businesses when parking. Also be mindful of the weather, so dress in layers! Spectators may bring chairs to line the curbs and sidewalks, and EZ Up tents for shade (along the curb only) if needed. There will be a special tented seating area across form the stage for Veterans and their families, chairs will be provided.
We would also like to let the public know that members from the Forest Service will be on hand in front of the Courthouse steps to provide information to Veterans on their America the Beautiful Pass, along with members of the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System to provide information on Veteran services.
