Replica Liberty Bell Coming to Prescott

One of America’s most powerful symbols of freedom is coming to Prescott. A replica of the Liberty Bell, typically housed at the Arizona State Capitol, will be on public display as part of the Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum, launching its statewide tour right here in Prescott!

The event takes place on Saturday, February 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, February 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce, 117 West Goodwin Street. An opening ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, featuring remarks from Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and Prescott Mayor Cathey Rusing, along with other state and local leaders.

Hosted by the Arizona America 250 Commission, the City of Prescott Tourism Office, and the Prescott Area America 250 Committee, the traveling museum kicks off its 30-stop tour in Prescott, Arizona’s original territorial capital, on Arizona Statehood Day, making the launch especially meaningful.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is the Liberty Bell replica, offering visitors a rare opportunity to see this iconic symbol up close. The mobile museum also features immersive displays, interactive activities for all ages, and a short video experience highlighting both national history and Arizona’s unique role in America’s story. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy community information booths, live performances, and family-friendly activities, creating a festive, welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
