Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum Steet Closure Information

The City of Prescott would like to invite the community to take part in the Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum, a special two-day event celebrating America’s upcoming 250th anniversary. To accommodate the traveling museum and associated activities, the City will implement the following street closures:

Goodwin Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Montezuma Street to Cortez Street
Closure will begin at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026

The traveling museum will arrive in Prescott on February 13th under a law enforcement escort. Motorists should expect temporary traffic delays in the area during the museum’s arrival.  The street closure is anticipated to remain in place until approximately 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, or when the Prescott Police Department deems it safe to reopen.

As with any downtown event, parking will be limited. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted signage and directions from public safety personnel.
