City of Prescott to Complete Final Phase of Sheldon Street Water Main Project

City of Prescott to Complete Final Phase of Sheldon Street Water Main Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRESCOTT, AZ (July 21, 2026) – Beginning Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the City of Prescott Public Works Department will complete the final valve adjustments associated with the new water main installation at the intersection of Sheldon Street and Marina Street. This work marks the final phase of the project and will place the new water main into full service.

Traffic control will be in place beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28. Several parking spaces along Marina Street will be temporarily closed to allow for brick paver restoration. All other traffic control is expected to be removed and the roadway reopened by noon on Wednesday, July 29, allowing sufficient time for the concrete valve collars to cure.

For more information, please contact the City of Prescott Public Works Department at (928) 777-1130.
