Argument Filing Period – Charter Amendments Prop 401-402 & 411-415
Scheduled for November 3, 2026 Special Election
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRESCOTT, AZ (July 30, 2026) As a reminder the filing period for arguments for and against Propositions 401-402 and Propositions 411-415 closes at 5 pm on Monday, August 3rd. Citizens are encouraged to submit and pay for their arguments through the following link: https://forms.prescott-az.gov/team/city-clerk/arguments, however, arguments may also be filed via email to city.clerk @prescott-az.gov in Word format.
Submitted arguments must meet the following criteria: 1) Shall not exceed three hundred (300) words in length; 2) Shall be accompanied by a $100.00 per argument fee; 3) Shall include the name of the individual or, committee chair if sponsored by a political committee, address and telephone number of those providing the argument(s).
Proposed Charter Amendments are available for review on the city website at: https://prescott-az.gov/prescott-city-clerk/elections/. For additional information regarding the proposed Charter Amendments or the 2026 Special Election please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 928-777-1437.
