Celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week: October 19–25, 2025

PRESCOTT, AZ (October 15, 2025) – The week of October 19–25, 2025, marks the annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week, an opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of Friends of the Library groups across the country.

Locally, Prescott Public Library is proud to honor the Friends of Prescott Public Library for their dedication and support. These volunteers advocate for libraries, raise much-needed funds, sponsor special programs, and host beloved community events. Their efforts help ensure that libraries remain vibrant, inclusive spaces for learning, connection, and discovery.

Established by United for Libraries, a division of the American Library Association, National Friends of Libraries Week highlights the importance of citizen support for libraries and encourages others to get involved.

Let’s celebrate the Friends who help our libraries thrive!
