City of Prescott offices and service hours will be changed by the upcoming holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Day.

SCHEDULE FOR CITY OFFICES

The City of Prescott will be closed on Wednesday, December 25^th,2024, in observance of the Christmas Holiday and Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.  City offices will reopen on Thursday, December 26^th and January 2^nd at 8 a.m.  For general City information, call 928-777-1100 or visit prescott-az.gov.

SCHEDULE FOR PRESCOTT PUBLIC LIBRARY

Prescott Public Library will be open reduced hours (9-5pm) on Tuesday December 24th and Tuesday December 31st.  The Prescott Public Library will be closed on December 25th and January 1st.

SCHEDULE FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND TRANSFER STATION

The Christmas and New Year’s holidays will affect solid waste collection in the City of Prescott, for some customers. For residential customers with a Wednesday or Thursday collection day, collection will delayed by one day during Christmas and New Years weeks. Route collection dates will return to normal beginning the week of January 6th.

There will be NO TRASH collection for residential or commercial customers on Wednesday December 25th and Wednesday January 1st.

For Christmas and New Years, residential collection days of Wednesday and Thursday, collection will be delayed one day. Commercial routes on Wednesdays will be delayed one day.

The City of Prescott Transfer Station will be CLOSED Wednesday December 25th and Wednesday January 1st.

Please remember to cover and contain all loads when transporting them to the Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road.
