City of Prescott Announces Presidents Day Holiday Closures 2026

In observance of Presidents Day, the City of Prescott will have the following closures and modified schedules:

City Offices
City offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, and will reopen Tuesday, February 17, at 8 a.m.

Solid Waste Collection
There will be no residential or commercial trash collection on Monday, February 16.

Transfer Station
The Prescott Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, February 16, and will reopen Tuesday, February 17, at 7 a.m.

For additional information about Solid Waste or the Transfer Station, please visit www.PrescottRecycles.com or call 928-777-1116.

Prescott Public Library
The library will be closed on Monday, February 16, and will reopen Tuesday, February 17, at 9 a.m.

Residents can still access digital resources 24/7, including eBooks, online databases, and streaming video, at prescottlibrary.info.
