City to Host Final Community Meeting on Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan to Present Final Draft
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRESCOTT, AZ (July 22, 2026) – The City of Prescott, GH2 Architects, and the Steering Committee continue work on the Master Plan for the City’s Rodeo/Fairgrounds site. The Project Team invites you to attend a community meeting on Wednesday, August 5, to view the final draft of the Master Plan and provide feedback. The meeting will be held at The Center, 1280 E Rosser Street, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At the meeting, GH2 Architects will provide an overview presentation of the Master Plan at the beginning of the meeting before transitioning to an open house format with the Project Team members at various stations. Additionally, community members will be able to provide public comments at this meeting.
Public Comment Period
The City of Prescott invites community members to provide public comments related to the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan Project. A 45-Day Public Comment Period will take place between August 5, 2026, and September 22, 2026. Community members will be able to view the final draft Master Plan document and leave public comments by visiting www.prescott-az.gov/prescott-rodeo-grounds-master-plan/. Please note that the draft Master Plan will be available for public review beginning August 5, 2026.
Additionally, Public Hearings will be held at City Council Voting Meetings on August 25 and September 22, starting at 3 p.m. Comments made during the Public Hearing will be included in the public comment period records.
Public input is valuable, necessary and required for this project. The City of Prescott welcomes all comments as we work towards finalizing a Master Plan for the Rodeo/Fairgrounds property.
