Due to inclement weather, the City of Prescott and their contractor, Combs Construction Company, will be delaying concrete repairwork related to the new bollards that were installed in Downtown intersections last Fall. This work will now begin on Monday, February 23, weather permitting.
Repair work will occur in the following areas as shown on the map:
• The west side of Montezuma Street and Goodwin Street intersection
• The east side of Montezuma Street and Goodwin Street intersection
• The west side of Cortez Street and Goodwin Street intersection
• The east side of Cortez Street and Goodwin Street intersection
Please note, work will be completed in one intersection at a time to allow for continued vehicular and pedestrian access Downtown, despite partial intersection, sidewalk and crosswalk closures.
Construction may occur Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Northbound and southbound traffic will be maintained along Montezuma Street and Cortez Street. Please follow the marked signage to get to your destination. Business access will be maintained throughout this construction. We appreciate your support and understanding as we continue improving the safety of Downtown Prescott. Please note, this work is subject to change due to weather or other unexpected circumstances.
