Downtown Bollard Installation Project–Work to Begin in Final Location

The City of Prescott and their contractor, Combs Construction Company, will resume installing removable bollards in the downtown area at select intersections (shown on the map). Installation in Locations 1, 2 and 4 are complete. Bollard installation in Location 3 (Willis/Montezuma) will begin on Monday, April 28 and is expected to last three weeks. The updated schedule is shown below.

Intersections will be fully closed, 24 hours a day, for bollard installation on these dates:

Bollard Location 1 and 4: (intersections of Gurley/Cortez and Union/Cortez):
Complete

Bollard Location 2: (intersection of Gurley/Montezuma):
Complete

Bollard Location 3: (intersection of Willis/Montezuma):
April 28 to the week of May 19

Construction may occur Monday through Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Detour routes will be posted during these closure times. Please follow the marked signage to get to your destination. On-street parking restrictions will be in place during this work. We appreciate your support and understanding as we work to improve Downtown Prescott. Please note, this work is subject to change due to weather of other unexpected circumstances.
