Notice is hereby given that the Prescott City Council will consider and possibly adopt new and increased fees and charges on the Citywide Fee Schedule. Several city departments are proposing fee increases. Community Development, City Clerk, and Public Works are adjusting fees based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The Airport plans to introduce a new airport use license fee and differentiate rates for commercial and non-commercial rentals. The Library seeks to raise room rental rates due to upgraded technology, while Recreation Services is increasing fees for parking, facility use, and special event applications to offset rising service costs. The Fire Department is proposing a CPI-based catch-up adjustment for fees that haven’t changed since 2016. The Police Department plans to implement a video recording copy fee.
The fee schedule changes will be discussed, and possibility adopted at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on May 27, 2025 at 3:00 pm located in the City Council Chambers at Prescott City Hall, 201 N. Montezuma Street, Prescott, AZ 86301. If adopted by the Council, the new and increased fees and charges will become effective July 1, 2025.
The proposed schedule and justification of the proposed fees and charges is available on this document: FY2026 Citywide Proposed Fee Schedule.
