The City of Prescott will be participating in two important community events again this year including Prescott Earth Day and the Yavapai County Contractors Association (YCCA) Home Show. Along with Prescott Earth Day, in a move to strengthen community ties and promote local initiatives, the city will also be featuring a booth at this year’s Yavapai County Contractors Association (YCCA) Annual Home Show. These are both free admission events.
Prescott Earth Day is on Saturday April 19th, 2025, from 9:00AM-2:00PM. This event will take place in downtown Prescott along the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza, with activities for kids, painting community murals, discovering compost, a nature touch & feel table, corn hole, and so much more! Honoring the origin of Earth Day as a national teacher there will also be educational and interactive booths, each with something new and exciting to engage in. The City of Prescott Water Resources and Environmental Services groups will have tables with information about water conservation, the popular rebate program, and stormwater pollution prevention into our lakes and streams. For more information about this event visit www.prescottearthday.org
The following week is the YCCA’s Annual Home Show which is on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday April 25th-26th-27th, 2025 at the Findlay Toyota Center. Visit the City of Prescott Booth #188. Our Community Development team and Water Resources Department will be present at the booth to help you learn more about water conservation rebates and WaterSmart indoor and outdoor strategies to save money and water. Building Plan Reviewers, Building Inspectors, and Neighborhood Services Representatives will be available to answer questions about the permitting and code enforcement processes.
Whether you’re a homeowner, builder, or community member interested in eco-friendly practices, this event is designed to provide valuable insights and foster meaningful connections.
We hope to see you at both events!
