Prescott Preservation Commission Reviews Revised Plans for Hotel Development on Site of Old City Hall

On Friday, July 12, The City of Prescott Preservation Commission received a presentation from Shane Shumway, with Territory Holdings, LLC, responding to the Commission’s direction at their meeting on June 14.  The project will come back to the Commission at a later date, possibly as early as September 13, where the Commission would vote to decide whether to approve the project and recommend it to City Council.

The proposed redevelopment project has spaces for retail and restaurant uses on the main level with upper levels consisting of a hotel with 100+ guestrooms.  The goal is to attract visitors and locals alike.

Citizens and members of the public are welcome to attend all public meetings in person.  All meetings can be viewed on the City’s Facebook page and Youtube Channel, and on the Public Access Channel through SparkLight.  Citizens can learn more about the project and comment by going to ParticipatePrescott.com
