The City of Prescott Preservation Commission will hold a regular meeting on Friday, September 13 at 9 am at 201 N. Montezuma Street, Third Floor Council Chambers, to review updated plans for The Assembly at Old City Hall project. At this meeting, the Commission is to vote whether to approve the project as submitted.
After receiving input at the June 14 meeting, this project was redesigned by the developer and presented in concept to the Preservation Commission at their regular meeting on July 12.
There have been several public meetings regarding this project. The project was initially unveiled at an Open House held on 4/30/24, hosted by the developer. Since the Open House there have been two study/discussion sessions (5/10 and 7/12) and one voting/action session (6/14- Commission voted to defer so that design changes could be made).
The proposed redevelopment project has spaces for retail, restaurants, and conference/meeting space on the main level with upper levels consisting of a hotel with 109 guestrooms.
Citizens and members of the public are welcome to attend this and all public meetings in person. All meetings can be viewed on the City’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel, and on the Public Access Channel through Sparklight.
