Updated Draft Parks & Recreation Master Plan Available for Second Public Review November 2 – 20

PRESCOTT, AZ (November 3, 2026) – The City of Prescott invites residents to review the updated draft of the Parks & Recreation Master Plan. The second public review and comment period runs from November 2 through November 20, 2026.

The updated draft reflects feedback received during the initial public comment period, which closed as scheduled on October 16, as well as input from City Council. This additional review period gives residents and stakeholder organizations another opportunity to review the plan’s recommendations and share feedback before it returns to Council for consideration.

The Parks & Recreation Master Plan will provide a 10-year framework to guide the future of Prescott’s parks, trails, recreation facilities, and programs.

Residents can review the updated draft and submit comments through the project website at https://engageberrydunn.mysocialpinpoint.com/city-prescott

Following the second public review period, the consulting team will consider the additional feedback and prepare revisions for a City Council study session scheduled for December 15. The plan is anticipated to return to Council for consideration and possible adoption on January 26, 2027.

For questions and information contact the Recreation Services Department at (928) 777-1121
