The project generally consists of constructing roadside parking improvements along Eastwood Drive. A group of four residences along the downslope side of the roadway were negatively impacted by the roadway reconstruction by the Penn Avenue/Eastwood Drive Improvements Project. The roadway was widened and raised which resulted in steeper driveways and the loss of historical roadside parking. The intent of this project is to restore the roadside parking as much as practicable.
Engineering plans have been completed. Negotiations are underway with Fann Contracting to construct the roadside improvements. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2025.
