The Prescott Preservation Commission was established on August 11, 1980 by Ordinance No. 1461 and consists of seven (7) members appointed by Council to serve three (3) year staggering terms. The purpose of the Commission is to take recommendations on the establishment of Prescott Preservation Districts and to review all plans to construct any new building, structure, or sign, or remodel, demolish, move, or change the exterior appearances of any existing building or sign within an established district; recommendations shall be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Commission. The Commission meets the second Friday of each month at 8:00 a.m.
PURSUANT to Arizona Revised Statutes, Section 38-431.01 a Notice of Possible Quorum is hereby given because there may be a quorum of members from Council-appointed Boards, Commissions and Committees attending City Council Meetings and Work Sessions AND/OR there may also be a quorum of City Council members attending Council-appointed Boards, Commissions and Committees; however, no voting will take place.
