Notary Services at City Hall

Courtesy notary services provided by city staff will be available at the following times:

  • Wednesdays: 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Thursdays: 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Non Council Tuesdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Sarah Siep, City Clerk

The City Clerk is appointed by the City Council and serves as the City of Prescott Records Officer and Elections Official. The Clerk’s Office handles a variety of functions including public records, liquor licensing, peddler/solicitor licensing, processing of contracts/agreements, ordinances and resolutions, agendas and minutes for all city Boards, Commissions & Committees (BCC), BCC recruitments and appointments, agendas and minutes for City Council Meetings, conducting of City Council Meetings and notary services.

City Clerk Sarah Siep has been with the City of Prescott since 2018. She has over a decade of experience in the City Clerk’s Office and previously served as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Big Bear Lake.

Ms. Siep holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from Northern Arizona University & a Masters in Public Administration from Grand Canyon University. She is a Master Municipal Clerk and a Certified Election Officer through both the Arizona Secretary of State and Arizona Municipal Clerks Association (AMCA). Sarah is the AMCA Executive Board Vice President & serves as the Board Liaison on a number of Committees for the organization; she is also an active member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and the National Association of Government Archives & Records Administrators (NAGARA).
