As the old Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at 1500 Sundog Ranch Road is relocating to the Airport Treatment Facility, portions of the old site will be decommissioned. The Streets Maintenance Division will be incrementally relocating their operations to vacated portions of the old treatment plant.
To accommodate construction of various other Streets Maintenance site improvements to the general area of the snow equipment facility, the remaining two concrete-lined sludge beds need to be removed and backfilled up to constructable grade. Wastewater needs a replacement disposal facility, prior to removal of the two remaining sludge beds.
This project involves creating a new vactor/sweeper cleanout site at the old Wastewater Treatment Plant, demolishing the old sludge beds, and backfilling with suitable material for subsequent phases of site development.
The project is in the conceptual stage.
